Does someone have a black and white R-1 skin for this? Bc it could be used for 1956 scenarios (R-1 is an exact copy of V-2)

Does someone have a black and white R-1 skin for this? Bc it could be used for 1956 scenarios (R-1 is an exact copy of V-2)

If you can find a Skinner to do it I will make another rocket




Does it blow up real good when you shoot it?

Working on getting some custom effects. Currently it is based off of blast radius calculations easily found online.



Remember just me doing this after returning from 2-3 years MIA

First I will need to find some accurate photos. There is not much of them...

Anyway, is this supposed to have sound? Bc I noticed it flies silently like a ninja, no engine sound at all (playing on DBW 1.71)

EDIT: I looked into rockets.ini. SoundMove actually points to the same sound as V-1 but I only heard something like explosion sound on takeoff. Besides that, rocket is completely silent.

Also the actual max speed and altitude were respectively 5760 kph at MECO and 88000 m at apoapsis. I'm gonna try inserting them into MaxSpeed and FlyHeight and see if it doesn't break the game :D

It should be using the same sound as the V-1, I will look into this. Thank you

OK, it did break the game :D . Max value for MaxSpeed seems to be 3000 kph, otherwise game crashes on startup  :'( Looks like Oleg guys did their best back in AEP to ensure noone will make accurate V-2....

Also the 88km altitude is out of range... I set it to max of 15000 and set flight speed to impact speed (2880 kph) on my install... Has anyone ever found the classfiles responsible for rockets?

I think the current system is made for cruise missiles only.

Why do you need; air.ini or technics.ini or statuibery.ini?
This is a rocket.... i has a V2 in game already as an object. Mine is just new 3d....

Soooo.... you are coming back to IL2 + mods  8)
If you are interested, we have new 3d-model tanks and new armored cars that really need to be
inported to the IL2 game, but no one is around anymore to import goodies  :(
I donĀ“t care if they are just "static" vehicles, at least they are new and could be used
for shooting practice!

That is a simple skin to paint. One side black & white and the other side White & Black. Like
a checkerboard game square. Some others were painted yellow and black with other side in

That type of V2 missiles were tested in White sands and other places
and were the first man-made objects to fly into space and film the Earth.
