Are they ever going to fix lighting effects that last official update ruined? I mean no stars at night, it's very dark when sun is low etc.

Alot of stuff is being worked on, lighting effects being some of them ;)

TF should be going into a beta for next patch over the next week.

Can't promise everyone's personal 'must fixes' are going to be addressed in the next patch, but I think a good number of them will be (and those that aren't fixed are almost certainly being looked at/worked on). As any of you who have combined mods know, some mixes can result in 'unexpected results', which may mean some things have to be left out of final release until any irregularities are sorted.

There are fairly regular updates on what is being worked on over at ATAG forums.

Simple, Yes get it for $10 off amazon like I did,

I have it, I Fusioned it, I like it, But in all honesty I play IL-2 4.12.1 more.

But for the $10 worth getting it.

I have come to a "general" resolution:

Il-2 1946+Mods for the content,

Cliffs of Dover for the Graphics and online gameplay.

 It's a tough draw....

Im content to wait for more content in CoD.
I just can't go back even to modded 1946 since TF fixed the sim.
Besides it's the front I'm most interested in.

for instance the realistic curving roads which vehicles can use, way better than the straight lines that IL2 is stuck with.
now if only someone could import that feature into IL2,
this!

All in all, IL2 seems to have the best "staying power" of the entire lot.  Seems others here feel the same way.  Definitely the best $40 bucks I ever spent on a video game picking up IL2 1946 way back when....

I totally agree with WindWpn!! Don't get me wrong I really really like COD, DCS,ROF and really like Jane's especially a supermodded Janes /TSHv4.02/ F-18, but like it's been said IL-2 has "staying Power"!!

I don't know what I"m doing wrong (I have to take the blame for some of this as the game ran pretty good before, but I did something and had to redo patches, thus it's never been the same) or need to do on COD as I have a really good rig, but I keep getting stutters on COD even on medium settings and there's nothing more frustrating when you got a spitfire in your sights and the screen freezes for a couple of seconds and the spit is gone no longer in front of you (all that maneuvering for nothing)!!!!!

In the end I really think getting COD is worth it though as the graphics are incredible and with sweetfx from what I've seen it looks nothing short of amazing!! I'm adding SFX this weekend to my game and see if that will help a little bit.

I think was a downfall looks good when does play but i can count the number of planes on my finger your video card not powerful enough enough. I went back to il2. I even ask for a refund after getting cliffs of dover was that bad from justflight.
Good thing was ended up with it for free once codes put in on steam.

Must admit, very recently my CLOD install has been burning up much more CPU/GPU time!
