Strange under 100kg bombs behaving
« on: March 17, 2013, 11:20:52 AM »

Hi,

I hope I'm writing this strange subject on right place. Actually when I drop bombs from some 10-20 to 50 kg of weight on ground targets like troops, vehicle columns etc. They explode only if bomb hits target right in a middle of it, in center other words, but if they fell 1 cm near target for example, nothing happens, just like I drop them in water, here is a picture, my opinion is that should be fixed cause I doubt it's normal and real...

That looks "normal"- It has to do with the explosion effects. There are separate effects depending on whether the bombs hit the ground or something "solid" (e.g. a stationary object, ship, building, etc.). The ground effects are a bit smaller and less "fiery" than the "object" effects. The same is true for most rockets, and possibly some other weapons. Though in some situations it is more realistic that way, I would prefer to see a little less difference between the two...

Laufer, this is actually the section for discussion of new WIP plane FM's, not for other existing problems with existing planes.
it's no problem, i will move it soon.
in future, such questions are best asked in the Tech Help: Using Mods section. ;)
