what do i do to install this for UP2.0n?

hi
download it from the firs page than extract it into your ..../IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS folder, in the Divine Wind folder you can find a readme!!
Than GO to your ...../IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/-MODS/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects folder and change the air ini! (you can see what have to do in the readme file)
than go to ..../IL-2 Stumovik 1946/-MODS/STD/i18n folder and change the plane.ru ( you can see this also in the readme file)

THAN DO THE SAME THING IN YOUR  ..../IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/Files/com/maddox/il2/objects   and     ..../IL-2 Stumovik 1946/Files/i18n folders and than you are ready to fly!! :D

cheers

Hmmm ONE hit by ONE kamikaze and the Lex went down, dont you think that is a bit extreme? Perhaps it could be scaled down a bit, say at least 3 hits. Many ships survived several hits.

Another thing is if the target is destroyed the survivors return to base, BUT have no landing gear! (unless it was damaged and I didnt notice) So they pancake on their belly (but dont explode) Perhaps this could be changed to add gear when RTBing
Whel the lex is an early war carrier. Kamikazi was mainly recorded in the later war, and if you just look at the essex compaired to the lex it wood compaird to mettal, so thats why some aircraft survived 7 hits.

Handy hint (discovered the hard way) for flying against them: aim for the wings. Pouring concentrated fire into the fuselage at close range can be a bit... counterproductive. A Zero loaded with explosives going off in one's face tends to put a bit of a damper on one's fun.  ;D

But it definitely makes for a good gunnery challenge.

I have two questions:
1. Why don't want my flightmates to sacrifice their lifes on the Shrine of Victory? It is quite annoying that I "give my life" for the majestic goal, and they just fly home in safe to drink sake? :P That's also true for the Okha pilots. Gliding to the ground and run away. Cowards! :D
2. What would a campaign look like as a kamikaze? ::) :P

1) they do that, i havint seen any fixes but if there is a fix when ever an aircaft has no weponds it will kill itself by diving on a ship or evon a tank.

2) there would be 2 missions, training and killing ur self. :P
