If someone creates a mod on the DBW website for DBW and publishes it  saying its for DBW then how should he know why it doesnt work in HSFX? :) Maybe try asking at he HSFX website ;)
My personal opinion is that since DBW 1.71 was released earlier than HSFX6 it wouldnt have required a really big effort to make at least the object lists compatible with each other and then you dont have to worry about map compatibility.

This is a beautiful map and works in my SAS supported install perfectly.

Here's a link to Boomer's object pack. It should practically all necessary objects for maps made in DBW 1.71

Beautifull map. It has been raining here in Finland, i have a flu....
and just to fly around Pacific makes me feel better.

I once have spent 6 weeks in Vanuatu (New Hebrides) and new Pacific maps Looks as real as IL-2 engine can do.
New 2048 villagetextures are also nice and airfields too.
As they say in bislama (broken english and linqua franca in Vanuatu)

I have downloaded a few weeks ago and it's a great map, textures and ground population, it stirs your imagination too :).
Many thanks!  8)
One of the textures bothers me though, when you fly over large area painted with that texture you see a sort of rectangular band of brighter color, obviously a problem with some edge of the corresponding .tga image.
Dear Agracier, is it possible to look into it and remedy it? I have the last version of the map (High Resolution).
If I have some time I may find out  the name of the texture, anyway for you is not hard to spot it...

noticed this too -  the texture with the problem is called

Spain_2048_Cuba_Green_Br_001.tga

i did fix this for myself in photoshop and it looks ok, but i don't know if it would be ok to share that texture, since i did not create it, just edited it.

okidoki!

my unofficial texture fix for the lost islands map by agracier - https://www.mediafire.com/download/1tbenj7kql179cw/texturefix_lost_islands_2048.zip

the 2 included files belong to #XXX\MAPMODS\MAPS\_Tex\ag\Isles_2048 folder, where #XXX stands for your mod folder (#dbw, #sas, etc...)

files that were modified:

- Spain_2048_Cuba_Green_Br_001.tga
- Spain_2048_Cuba_Green_Br_001.bumpH

cheers!

Guys, Realdarko´s right ... just go for it. Pretend that any of my maps or skins are public domain, do what you wish to them, mod them, change them, post them again, it´s all good, it´s all OK ...

Right now I´m slowly roasting to death in the wilds of Al-Andalus with nary a decent internet connection worth mentioning and none of my files with me anyway ... so just do whatever you wish with any of the maps ... share and share alike, that´s my motto ...

Have fun too ad I´ll be looking forward to starting up my copy of Il-2 in the coming months again too ... it´s been far too long for me ...
