From the info I gathered, it seems that only the cabin struts were metallic, the windstruts remained wooded

Could you please bring more clarified documentation on this piece of info?
AFAIK, no Albatros D ever had wooden struts...
The Austrian ones included.

My mistake, Elephant. All Albatross DIII struts were indeed teardrop steeltube rolled from circular seamless tubes. The Austrian Oeffag versions of the Albatross used a bit bigger profiles than the Germans did.

 ;D

Magnificent work!

A question: Is there any "153" series with standard propeller spinner in the works? - This mean one of the first 112 aircraft of the 153 series? Externally the only difference from a standard Albatros D. III was the machineguns position, right?

It would complete the Austro-Hungarian Albatros D.III family...

This is just a tip, not a request. And I would like to say "THANK YOU" to all the people that is involved in the Albatros mods, German and Austro-Hungarian. A milestone in Aviation History and WW1.

Is there a way to split these two fine birds apart as to have different Default skins for each.

Just asking .
Thank You.

Mmm, what a schón luftjeager :D
Sorry for the few queries below, especially if they are semi out of topic...
....EDITED by myself... see bottom of post.
Also, if I have updated the buttons for normal DBW (v10 buttons 4.101) should I do the same for the DBW1916 one as well, or leave the 1916 ones as original ?

Quote from: razor1uk
I am dl'ing a 2nd time - possible/likely corrupted 1st dl and install failure, I do install this into the #DBW1916 folder and its associated lines into the DBW1916 and its internally located air, plane and weapon ini/ru-'s don't I ? ..or does it need the Albatros D.III already installed to work off ?

Ah I think need the updated FM to make it work I believe https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,32138.msg341909.html#msg341909 , and reading that I just drop in the new FM without replacing the orignal one - I gather then that this new FM is the base to the specific FM augmenter, or can I delete the old OeffagDIII_FM ?
Mmm my newer dl of this in its unpacked folder doesn't have a OeffagDIII_FM anymore, so that answers my line above thought then..
