This is not meant in a negative way at all but you guys have more like a farm for a rebel base. You are like the Amish of the IL2 world! More power to ya! I have a headache trying to get a sound mod to work with HSFX5 right now. In my opinion 4.09 was an excellent incarnation of the game and an excellent place to stay. Take care.

the rebels obviously don't have the resources of the Empire, so i guess they have to stay in the fight by any means necessary.
also, the multiple wives aspect of the Amish has always been quite appealing.... :D

guess you can say I'm a 4.09 Rebel now  ;D

basically I have three versions of the game:
1) 4.09m vanilla that is my backup
2) 4.09m modded for single player s's&g's :D
3) a "whatever Airgroup51 says I should have" for online use :D

so yeah, I heard for me, just wanting to fly certain planes, 4.09 is a good way to go, so here I am! :D  Already enjoying it, just working out a few kinks as it were - https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=40059.0

I think the 409 patch had the bf109 flite model closest to the real thing. i'm a 109 freak (lol) and the later patches have the 109s waving it's tail like a dog. not to speak of the early stall and inability to recover from the stall
