Hi yes you are right, I ignored your instructions and started with a lower rank. I now have the Beaufighter thanks. I agree engines off nothing to do with missions. If I fix it I'll post how.

I've read something about engine problems on startup long time ago, iirc simply restarting the mission will fix it.

Unfortunately it's repeatable and I think the start of mission 1 should be on the carrier deck anyway?

Just played -- no, experienced -- the first mission.  One of the most action packed and cinematic I have ever seen.

Are they all that good????
