There is a finished or almost finished WW2 version that I can upload with numerous grass airfields. I am not sure if they are plates or friction mod based. I made it as a 4.10 map.

I can upload it in a day or two. I'll test it out first.

I've had some free time so I made some improvements to the current map files. 
This map has GOOD bones!  I'm just putting a new dress on it
I'm keeping the original river and coast textures because they still look great and mandrill7 did a fantastic job with them.  Most other textures are updated, mostly using Oknevas and Mixx textures.  I'm trying to keep it looking like the Donbass map since this is an extension to the west of that region.

This will be a WW2 map and right now I'm focused on the role Hungary played in 1941.  I've added some small towns to portray the path of the Hungarian Fast Corps.  I've added some roads and extended the railroad.  I'll delete the concrete airfields and replace with grass/dirt fields and add a couple more af.

To me the main thing about textures has always been to make them as little repetitive as possible. Huge areas covered by squares of the same texture kill all the fun for me. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this map, too!
