i have one more missing object, but this one looks familiar, i am sure i will find it, given enough time.

as you might see, the syntax for this object is incorrect.
although i have the object, i don't know the correct way to go about making the static recognise the object.
what's the best solution for the misplaced ']' symbol in the object name?  ???

i have tried it this way:    [buildings.House$SEchurch10]

and

this way:                       [buildings.House$]SEchurch10]

either way, the static checker complains about the same thing:          buildings.House$]SEchurch10             
missing

i have a sense of deja vu about this one, i'm sure i've seen this problem before, some time back - just can't remember much more than that, though...

If the log file name is specified in square brackets, then the object was well recorded in actor.statics when creating maps
I would check its availability in your 3do and correct his records in static.ini.

thanks mate - i renamed the 3do folder and the static entry to include the syntax error, and now the map is working perfectly.
appreciate the help.
