I'm wondering if anyone can help me.  What I need is a txt file of all the static.ini entries for all the packs on page one of this thread.  I won't be able to re-download all the files just to get the text entries, and I'd very much like to add these objects to my new V4.12 install.  :)

I'm not sure about page one and all the downloads myself
or what all static info is needed to be added or used as it has become rather confusing

The original object pack is in SFS Files and available for download at M4T
and it uses the UP3 RC4 static.ini  and the SFS Files and the UP3 RC4 static.ini match perfectly
IMHO it is the best way of going or starting something to build upon

The SFS Files are used by the game much more efficiently than using un-compressed Mods in a MODS folder

Is this objects pack or most of it already included with DBW 1.71 ?

Hello jg1234,

the DBW install contains most if not all of the objects needed except for some very new maps which require additional objects.

So, the answer is yes.

Maro, TBH if you miss objects, maybe go the heavy but simple way and get them all:

This here was a similar request:..Easy to do, get Boomer's objects, add his static entries and put that to your game. I hope that will work, tbh as for static.ini I would doube check to not lose some of your objects.

Yes, it can. I've just made it. In SAS Modact 5.3 it is extremely easy: put SFS files in SFS_AUTO folder, then put UP static.ini in #SAS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects. That's all.
BTW question: does anybody know is there a way to use it pack, but at the same time to have some defaut 4.12 objects? For example I need original (4.12 stock) Tri Duby hangar from Slovakia map (without camo), and this from UP Pack rewrites stock one. Is there a way to have them both, or only stock one?

Edit: But beware, there are new stock objects in 4.12, so if You rewrite static You will lose these objects. So better to merge manually both statics (UP and stock 4.12).

Thanks Gerax, I've downloaded Your static, but problem with Tri Duby hangars is more complicated: it's the same object in stock 4.12 and in the UP Boomer's Pack (the same entry in static.ini, only different 3Ds). So adding UP pack just rewrites graphic appearance of this objects. I' m afraid that only method to have them both is extracting one of them from sfs file and putting it in static under another name (entry).

For those wondering about the page one downloads  :D ;)


It was to break up the huge initial files of the very first original objects pack by UP~Boomer in smaller sectioned downloads for people that may have slower connections or can not download huge files/folders.  (such as the now available sfs object pack downloads).

Some people still have slow connects these days
