Seafire Mk.46 Contra-rotating propellers
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
This is a Franken-kombination of Spitfire XIV-Contraprop (ton414),   the Seafire MK.XVII (ton414) the Seafire FR.47  (ton414)


I added the engine.meshes and exhaust.meshes  of the Spitfire FRXIVe GJE52  !  -> now the length of the nose fits better a F.46


I  did only merge the slots of these planes (FM and Loadout) tweaked a little bit the Weapons (4x2cm Cannons) merged the 3d-work of  the 3d-Artists
Thats all !

The creators of these mods  must forgive me, that I could not resist  8)

4.101 Diff FM is required, if you use DBW it is not necessary.

You put this folder in your mod folder and add the following lines to air.ini

SEAFIRE_F.46     air.SEAFIRE74  1    NOINFO  gb01  DESERT

If You encounter (1.03 or older) the "No cockpit-phenomen  do this:  In the directory  3DO/Cockpit/  rename this folder: SpitfireMkXIVCRP  to SeafireMkXVII  (in version 1.04 incuded)

Patch from Paulus who makes the tailhook and folding wings work  and gives her a new FM      Patch in version 1.05 included

Lebig was so friendly to support me with his work too but because of my lack of time and skill ...  8) I used Paulus version.   But anyway  Thank You mate for Your help !

I got CTD at 70%. Seem like it missing the F.46 classfile...

PS: it work! the air.ini should be "SEAFIRE_F.46" not "SEAFIRE_ F.46". I remove the space between SEAFIRE_ and F.46 and it work.

 I'm running 4.101 modact with quite a few mods including diff fm. After correcting the air.ini mission loads to cockpit with cursor still visible then my sim crashes to desktop. Any idea's what conflict that would be?  Figured there's a possibility its something simple instead of having to remove mods to find conflict. Beautiful plane!!! Thanks so much!

Wow!, It's really cool  8), a super aircraft, if you need an appropriate skin, just tell me.

And probably the best combination of flight model is: flight model from Seafire XVII + engine from Spitfire XIV CRP. ;)


Oh Yes !

A better Default-Skin would be good !

Unfortunately I can`t make FM´s.

BTW, do You plane to create real Seafire F.46, F47 or Spitfire Mk.24  in future ????
