Beautifully done! Love the detail.

A very worthy and capable opponent to the Camel.

I love the sound of this aircraft and the skins are beautiful.  However, the link to the template seems broken   :(

All I can say is wow.
But its funny that Ive been so keen for this aircraft and the night before it comes out, I ruin my IL2 install and I need to re-download the DBW package, but of course the links are temporarily down so this torturous waiting must go on! :P

I can remember seeing this plane long ago when Magpie posted it in flight, it was and is the best flying model for IL2.
From the scalloped wings to the truly round wheels , it is at the top of it's class in model making.
This is the benchmark of excellence and I thank all involved SALUTE!

Well done guys, this 3D model is awesome!
I think the FM and sound might need a little tweak. At the moment, it seems like this plane flies like a franken... It turns on a dime and the wings don't seem to fail in an extended dive like they were reported to do IRL.
I made a video showcasing this superb fighter. Well done all involved!

I think you misunderstand my words. That was not meant as a blight on this beautiful aircraft at all.
The FM to me seems unrealistic, much the same as a frankenplane aircraft's FM in that it can pretty much out-turn any of its contemporaries without risk of stalling or stressing the airframe to breaking point.

You can definitely rip the wings off it, I made sure of it. Sure the G limits code be slightly decreased BUT the G code in Il-2 is not perfect. With it any lower, you can easily snap the fuselage in half from trivial manoeuvres.  It also exhibits the correct climb rate and top speed at altitude. Also it is supposed to turn on a dime, that's how it flew ;) Biplanes, even in that era, were VERY manoeuvrable.

If you can provide some sufficient data to prove this aircraft flew otherwise, I'm welcome to here it.
