Yep, around 20 seconds or 5 full turns of the flap wheel from what Ive read.
That is one cool thing about CoD, watching the ailerons droop as flaps go down.
Too bad its a busted...never mind.

I though Freddy (histomod) got the flaps working as should in the cockpit. Did he not release it.. wait, nevermind that will never be standalone.

Yes. All in all I'm super happy with my FM.. hopefully it'll work with 4.11/4.12 too.. but I can't get any of the 109's to work except for the stock 4.11 ones... :(

Hello Guys,

Lets speak about our last time ID and explored Bf109G10 Erla Werk Numer: 490362.

This year me and collegues made legall exploration of above mentioned aircraft, here some photos:

https://picasaweb.google.com/112862658812080836825/Bf109KarsbachHinzendorfAreaOfPommerenPresentInPoland?authkey=Gv1sRgCPmqiZXCsta_BA

After we agreed following ID of aircraft and pilot:

KIA: March 3, 1945
Bf 109G-10, Werknummer 490362, schwarze 9, 2./JG 3

In this maschine was installed following GEARBOX:
Gerät-Nr.: 9-13005 C-7
Änderungen : 11
Werk Nr.: 11029
Herstelle: bm

where "bm"- mean:
bm - AEG-Allgemeine Elektrizitaets-Gesellschaft, Abeteilung Zaehlerfabrik, Berlin

See technical data plate:

For me are interesting all technical documents and parameters , typ of used engine for this one Bf109G10 which belong to our pilot.
By the way used by Erla Leipzig typ of camufflage and colour of aircraft -- Serie: 490xxx-490800.Delivered to JG3 in November 1944.

Technical data plate of Bf109G10 as above.   (...G-10 - Nov. 1944 - May 1945...)  ;)

If somebody has more interesting details about serie of Erla in range: 490xxx-490800 please contact on prive.
I need agree some technical details for this Bf109G10.

"...490000 – 490800 ~ Erla G-10 - many were fitted with DB 605/AS - small main/long fixed tailwheel ..."  ??? Is it confirmed information? From with source?

Which type of engine was used here ?
''...As early as 1942 Daimler had also been working on an upgraded D-series engine that could run on either C2 or C3 fuel. These engines did not see service until 1944 and were quickly followed by the 1,800 PS (1,775 hp) DB 605DB (running on B4 + MW-50 or C-3 without MW-50) and 2,000 PS (1,973 hp) DB 605DC. These engines saw widespread use in the late-war Bf 109 G-10 and Bf 109 K-4. ...'''

Well, the source for WNr.490 000 – 490 800 using the DB 605 AS engines are right from Erla itself. Allied bombing on the DB factory put a stop of the delivery of DB 605 DB/C engines for a few weeks, so they had to substitute with the AS engines they had on hand. Thats why you see before and after these WNr.'s using the DB/C engines. The 2000ps DB605ASCM (1.98ata) wasn't used until Feb/45.
