I have dbw 1.71, are there planes in the full mission builder that don't appear in the qmb?

I am sorry Joberg, I was mistaken. It is the monoplane fi-156 i was thinking of. Not the biplane 167 :( Yea, we could use the 167 biplane yet :(

OK.. I am done with "Prelude to War" ! Yay ! haha :) All missions are complete and tested a few times each. I made the new skin for the AR196 yesterday (well technically, I didn't actually make it from scratch. I borrowed a vpmedia texture and reworked it for my own enjoyment and purpose. I used actual WWII photos to design it, and with the exception of the green tail band (which is not really historical for the aircraft/or time period, but i thought looked cool LOL) it is pretty accurate. I will post up some screen shots tomorrow of the new skin, and some of the object intensive environments. Anyone looking for a handful of AR196 missions should find these enjoyable. There is NOT a bunch of combat action, so if you are looking to dogfight a bunch in your AR196...hahah...well..this isn't for you. Although you WILL be engaged at least once through the story. Anyways, I have tried to make them interesting and enjoyable, with plenty of story and a variety of tasks and conditions, all to set the background for the Graf Zepplin campaign which I am going to begin later this week. But first, I want to make a couple ntrks for this series of missions (which will give me a bit of experience making them for the Graf Zepplin campaign.) and then I will release this short AR196 campaign (probably in a couple more days). So...screen shots tomorrow....and release later this week. oh, wait..I have a screen shot of the skin here with me... so I will post it up now :) A couple more screen shots tomorrow then LOL

(That is a distant shot of Wilhelmshaven and the port in the background.)

excellent work will enjoy the ones this plane but the campaign with the German carriers is what I want by the way how many missions are going to be planned for the campaign.

I have not decided on a set amount, but likely I will do it in four or 5 phases. My intent is to cover the entire war. I will release each phase as it is completed. 1939-40 will be phase one. Probably 41-42 phase two, etc. Probably about 10 missions give or take for each phase. So probably 50+ missions altogether. At some point the aircraft will switch to a 190 sea-wolf version, but will start out with 109T.

Apologies for the delay in getting this initial campaign to you, but this is the first campaign I ever did, and also I had never messed with ntrks before either LOL. So I had a few technical difficulties to sort. Once you switch missions to campaigns, they can obviously perform a little different then expected because of player rank.

In any event, I just got done playing through the campaign, and everything is finally working good based upon this final test (or so it appears). I am going to package it up tonight, and i want to make a couple quick changes to the music/news files (I think I will offer it seperate as a download, since it is a little hefty (50 MB), but I think it is cool for immersion, and giving a "feel" of the times and place to the scenarios. Since it is not war action for the most part, it sort of adds to the experience, because it is a bit quiet just flying. However, mission 4, and mission 6 I think will prove to be exciting missions. They are my favorites and are fairly challenging. I am planning to upload them tomorrow when I get to my shop, and am going to start  the first phase of Graf Zepplin campaign tonight. I already have it all planned out :) I will make a new thread tomorrow for the "Prelude to War" campaign. I hope you all enjoy it. It is different, and kind of cool flying the pontoon aircraft :) My movie making isn't the best, but should get better as I go, since i have three of them under my belt now LOL :)

Just a quick update. I am almost done now with the first Graf Zeppelin campaign (The Norway operation). I have 10 missions complete, and probably another 3 or 4 to go :) I think it is shaping up pretty nicely. Maybe another week or two, and I will be able to release it :) Then I will probably take a short break, and begin on the next segment of the campaign (a new operation...maybe battle of Britain...but I haven't decided yet). Suggestions are welcome.

Battle of Britain since that was 2nd stunt that Hitler did and most likely between 15 to 30 missions will be ideal for the Battle of Britain. The next one after that should be the North Atlantic battle where the carriers on both sides fight and the Battleships a epic what if. The US should not be included in the North Atlantic battle. But if you do a med. then the US should be included. Then the Pacific where all 4 or five nations are battling for the control of the pacific.
USA, Britain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, NZ, Australia. Carriers, Battle Ships, Submarines, and all the other ships what a epic what if battle.
You do great work and thanks for your campaigns and missions. The above was only a suggestion.

I'd suggest before BOB there be an attempt at convoy raiding or otherwise supporting the Pocket battleships' or even uboats' operations. Maybe sortieing out to try to save/avaenge the Graf Spee or escorting a damaged sub and tender or something along those lines. Just suggestions, Kriegsmarine should be doing something during he battle of France I would think.

Hmmm...I had been considering France actually...perhaps they could have been doing raids along the western coast....Brest...Lorient, etc. I intend to do a Mediterranean series...perhaps during the Greece invasion..or North Africa...was also thinking about doing some action later in the war out in the pacific or perhaps around East Africa, Suez..India region :) ...or alternatively/additionally ...having the US send some carriers over into the Atlantic to help reduce the German Carrier threat :) Might be kind of Epic with a German/American carrier stand-off :) Lots of possibilities and ideas.

Just another couple of  suggestions, you might see if you can get a skin made for the Jean https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,36557.0.html and use that as a stand-in (or even an import, heck its all imaginary) since there's no fi-167 yet. A carrier needs Some sort of torpedo bomber right? Another fun mission might be having the carrier help out U-boat operations in the early phase after the U.S. entry, chasing PBY patrol planes and Anti-sub airships and running amok for a bit before the U.S. gets serious and forms convoys and maybe sends the Ranger and the Long Island with some battleships to chase you off!

Good ideas Joberg! Is the jean a standard DBW aircraft ? I have been making the campaign a stock DBW campaign, so anybody who sets up DBW can run it without having to make additional Downloads. Heck I will check my install and see if it is there. Making the skin is no problem, I can whip a skin out pretty quickly I am sure. I am doen with the Norway operation series now. So I am goign to be putting some thought into the next phase over the next couple of weeks. I like your ideas.
