CMR Noise-2048
« on: September 04, 2012, 11:13:15 AM »

Previously, I was wrong and thought you all do in GREYSCALE.
But the index colors works best.
Here's my version of files in a 2048 pixel NOISE.
View of the Earth is changing.

Watch close to the ground. Height 1 m ...3m. More small shadows !!

Can someone not love it  !!!

Good artists will make your option files.

I have installed it, but I can't see any difference. To be clear, I look at ground textures in game, but I don't see anything new. Maybe should I change any setting in game?

HD 2048 MOD installed, together with Bessarabia, skins and HD clouds. All working perfectly.

Watch very closely. Now many small shadows.
Now I am at work.
After 4 .. 5 hours, I'll post screenshots of the mod and no mod.

I found the ground noise seemed finer and much less apparent.

Any screenshots? (I'm away for several weeks, so no Il-2 with me).

To better see the earth texture I used white.

These shadows are in play at any all textures of the Earth.

I give you only an idea.

Well, now I see the effect:

(Image resized from 2560*1600).

To see the effect, at least me, you need to fly very very low.

Excellent shots; I see what you are saying. This would make things look really good when sitting on the airfield :)

So, does that mean you lose the detail from higher altitudes (3000m +), or is there still enough contrast to be seen from far away?
