Hi Wingflyr,

I'm a bit like plowshare in that i've installed your previous pack and would only like the .ini's and classfiles for this new one not including the old stuff - any chance you can post new ini's and classfiles for these new objects only ??

Hope that makes sense? I want to avoid double entries for stuff already installed

Cheers,

1- copy/save your STD file before work.
2- as shown above, work in reverse: do Technics.ini to Chief.ini last.
3- On final, do chief.ini step by step. Test game each new dual entry (1 vehicle ). Debug the vehicle that CTD your game at 70%, towards Tecnics.ini. ( at this point, this is just 10 new vehicles to add, so = 20 entries, two per vehicle, and 10 tests... ).
-Or get bold, and do two vehicles at a time, 4 entries each time, 5 installs, 5 tests !
   Good luck with it, making153 !  8)

Hi Rob,
sorry but I'm really not sure what did you mean about this.
It seems you suggested to copy at first either all entries into static and stationary .ini files and each vehicle's folder into DBW directory too and then make step-by-step tests to the entries for each vehicle about chief and technics .ini files only.
I followed that way but still 70% CTD just testing the two new vehicles I already got in "wflir new armor" (see below).

Or maybe did you assume to copy into DBW's directory the vehicle folder related to the entries you need to test only?

And something more: I have got the "wflyr new armor" pack, in wich Sdkfz 234 and Crusader AAA already exist. So need I to delete the old folders related to these vehicles?
Thx in advance.
(My english is not very good, so I hope you could understand what I mean however)

Hi Charlie,

My plan is to delete the old NEW_ARMOUR and FLAK_TOWER folder then trawl thru the .ini's and see what needs adding to what is already there, leaving the existing entries in place. Then install the new NEW_ARMOUR folder into #DBW - I just wish Wingflyr had separated the new entries from the old ones for us but it shouldnt be too hard to figure.

I dont really see the need for doing Technics or Chief in any particular order just add the text to all - but just avoid duplicate entries.

Wingflyr new armor is from dec 2011. Since then he posted in jul 2012, Wingflyr New Pack, then Winflyr New Pack V2.
There is no sdkfz234 in New Pack. They reappear in V2. I cannot access dec 2011 mod, so be certain no vehicle is removed by a newer install !!

Well, if I didn't delete "wflyr new armor" before that's only why I wasn't really sure that in new .ini files all the previous vehicles are present  :-\.
Now that I saw that something in my way is wrong, thus I'm going to make more comparisons to be sure all new armor pack's vehicles are in V2 too in order to be sure I can delete new armor too.

back up, back up, back up Charlie !!

Don't worry, I usually do and I did this time too!!  ;)
Thx to all. I'll let you know the results.
