Do you need the plugin to export Sketchup files to .msh format?

That will be helpful, :D

I'm completely embaressed to tell you that my mind seems to be completely f***** up xD I confused somethinng. There is only an obj exporter for google sketchup, but its almost as usefull as a msh plugin, because you HAVE to alter your model in 3ds max or gmax before exporting. And obj is a much more ideal format for it.

it can be downloaded here:
http://sketchuptips.blogspot.de/2007/01/wavefront-obj-exporter.html

hope this will be usefull. I worked with obj files in gmax with much success.

For Gmax and 3ds Max there are msh exporters, wich also can be found on this site I think. I have to state, that the only object I ever imported to Il-2 was 3 Flags, but you can ask me if you have questions in further prosessing.

Those are very nice vehicles. Congratulations on a great job!  8)
With a nice skin paint it will look very realistic looking and very nice.

By the way, would you be interested in doing some very old classic vehicles
and armored cars for World War One (DBW-1916) ??
Yes, I am recruiting you to possibly create 3 or 5 new vehicles for the WW1 years. There
are already alot of things for WW2 in IL-2-1946, but not enough for WW1 and the years
between the Great Wars. I have many books on some cool machines from the classic era, and
many of them were also used in WW2 years  ;)

Thank you, and yes I will be interested in the future, I've been watching your work :D

I just wanted to finish this Belgian tank atleast and add texture to both of my models but I cannot find anyone to make them ...

I would be very glad to help you out in doing some skins for your cool vehicles. Just like airplane skins, I honestly believe
that ground vehicles and tanks deserve some nice skins for the game. It makes the gameplay and enjoyment
of this game so much more fun and a bit more realistic.

If you want, send me the skin Void and I will see what I can do. Since I do not have the 3-D model to look at
it while I paint the skin, it will be more dificult to do a proper paint-job because some parts fold into other places
on the 3-D model. Its a sort of a crazy puzzle to figure out which part goes into which other part. It is the same thing
with airplanes.
Its a cool puzzle which I like to pass my time discovering the parts and painting them. I think I have passed more
time in the IL-2 game over the past years painting skins rather than actually playing the game! LOL  ;D AAAHAHAHAH! It´s true.
Anyway, through the PMs here in the forum we can send each other the skins and you test them out on your game, show
me some screenshots of them and I will see what needs to be painted properly until you think/decide its ready to post it
for the game and for everyone to enjoy it. OK?
Cheers
MAX
