I am still inclined to use the SHIFT- right mousebutton command when zooming in at Google Maps.

The sim bug has a nasty bite. You might want to get that looked at. Others
who have gone before you have found their answers to the question:

lol i tried to play FS2004 the other day, and totally screwed up because the controls are different than IL-2
