Doesn't quite look like that from a moving bouncing vehicle, let alone airplane

Not working??

I put the file I downloaded into the -MODS folder in my il2 1946 folder.  Nothing has changed.  Am I supposed to do something else or is it in the wrong folder??

Yes, you need to remove the "-" in front of "-MODS" (rename "-MODS" to "MODS"), with the minus sign the folder is disabled   :)

Yes, as yeikov said, everything that you put a dash before the name will disable it, it is the standard way to disable something in IL-2. ;)

red3bravo, welcome to the site, mate.
i highly recommend taking a day or two to read through some of the stickies regarding modding basics.
if you jump in without doing so, you WILL get burnt, as this game is not designed for mods.
please save yourself heartache down the line, by investing some time to read up a bit on the basics first. ;)

Thanks for the heads up.  Im not too new into the modding area.  I put on the ultra pack onto my game a while back but just kinda got away from the game.  Just getting back into it.  Looked around at some of the stickies but cant find anything that lets me know what to do in this situation.  I removed the - but it didnt do anything

Are you using UP, Modact or DBW?

Hi santobr!

Could you kindly consider to make this useful mod 411.1 compatible (if you've time)?

Best Regards

Yes, of course. :)
But did you tested it?
I'm asking because I'm using it in HSFX with no problems. ;)

I'm using it also on HSFX6 and it work...but I've random crashes (or alternatively game stop loading)
and in hs_err_pid...log I find this error:

Quote
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at PC=0x6d4603f5
Function name=JVM_FindSignal
Library=H:\IL2_HSFX_6.0.1\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\bin\hotspot\jvm.dll

   at com.maddox.il2.game.GameWin3D.main(GameWin3D.java:235)

So I'm thinking that could be related to the class file (BulletGeneric if I'm not wrong) inside your mod.

Might be there're some differences between this file and the same 411.1/HSFX class?

Cheers
