Maro, please don't post about other aircraft in the Camel's thread.
if you like, you can make a rquest in the requests section - but not in another plane's thread, please.

Thanks so much for this really great addition to the game! Lovely torque effects! Which motor is modelled? 130hp or 160hp? My prop rotates left though! Shouldn't it rotate right as seen from the cockpit? Thanks again!

This is a nice video about the Sopwith Camel, the pilot explains the selector/blip mech ( > 1:05).

Thanks very much for this beautiful aircraft & long hours put into her.
Help – know I probably doing something dumb  :-[
Using DBW 1.71 & put the Camel File into the DBW_1916 folder (at correct file depth) added lines to the air.ini, plane.ru & weapons.ru, but getting 70% crash with following log error – what am I doing wrong?
[21:02:05]   m_lastFMFile = gui/game/buttons
[21:02:05]   GUIQuick: class 'air.CAMEL' not found
[21:02:05]   Main begin: PlMisAir: class 'air.CAMEL' not found
[21:02:05]   java.lang.RuntimeException: PlMisAir: class 'air.CAMEL' not found

Re-download – just in case, was a problem with the down load, but same errors. Also re-checked the air.ini & its as per the read-me

EDIT
Got it working with vpmedia's wonderful WWI mod - great plane - thanks  :)

This is going to sound like a stupid question   :'(
But how did the engine turn with the propeller?

On normal installation powerplant case is mounted to airframe and crankshaft spins in case with propeller attached to crankshaft. With rotary intallation crankshaft is mounted to airframe and case is free to rotate around crankshaft propeller is attached to case. Upside is better cooling while aircraft is static and smoother running because of flywheel effect, downside is excessive gyroscopic precession because of spinning mass.
