I've begun work on a Fairey Battle and Hurricane IV campaign. It starts with the player learning to fly in Nigeria in 1938, then moves on to the East Africa campaign. After a long period doing nothing in East Africa, the player will be flying Hurricane MKIVs in Italy.

 It's a mixture of fiction, and history. The Fairey Battle was used by 11 Sq SAAF in East Africa. The Hurricane IV was used by the RAF in Italy. This will be the ficticious part. I'll put the player in a SAAF Kittyhawk, or other squadron instead, and have them fly Hurricane MKIVs. It should be ready by spring 2013.
