FAA Pacific campaign
« on: June 06, 2012, 09:43:53 PM »

I've done about 80 % of the work for this campaign. The player will be flying a Corsiar. There will be missions covering Palembang in January 1945, and Sakashima in March/April. Then the player gets an unexpected transfer to a desk job in Sydney. So no Formosa missions.

PS  This campaign was uploaded to Mission for Today on June 28th 2012.

Hi,arkroyal. Thanks for the feed back. I need to revise it. I'll use FAA Corsiars, not American ones. FAA Hellcats will be there too. I'll add in late Japanese fighters, not just the KI 84. I'll include the late Japanese sea plane fighter, not the Rufe. I will try one carrier landing. However, DBW1.6 usually had you going too fast on the approach to a carrier, or airfield. I'll see if I can get it going right. The one mission I did with rain/snow, had it coming down as snow. That was in DBW 1.6. Now, I'm using DBW 1.71.
Did you try my FAA Dragoon campaign?

cheers

Hi,arkroyal. I originally did campaigns in HSFX. It was on my D drive. Then funny stuff began happening with the graphics. I couldn't be bothered finding out. So, I gave 410, and DBW a go. It was about the third attempt.  Now of course most missions are for 410. Which effectively means DBW anyway. I enjoyed UP when it was at 1.8. Now, it's the indispensible base for DBW. I've just finished an He45 mission for the SCW two seater pack. Next job is to release the FAA Pacific campaign. It should be ready in a month.

cheers

Hi CzecTexan, try this URL. I hope it's the right one. I can't do any more missions, or campaigns until I get back to Korea.

Glad to have been of service CzechTexan. You should enjoy napalming the cyclists then. Especially if you've had to put up with pesky moutain bikers riding like they own the road; or had one scuff your car in a car park.

cheers
