If you wanna test the error is present in FokkerEIII,SiemensDII/V,FokkerDr1, etc.

here's a screen where I marked the problematic area with red

Gentlewomen and men, goodafternoon!

I switched in the Selector from DBW (version 1.71 is installed) to DBW_1916.
Installed the beautiful new packages v1b1 and v1b2.
The groovy new splashscreen now reports that it is DBW version 1.6.

Did I overlook something?

Thanks for advice in advance!

Greetings, Pierre

I think that the version number simply wasnt updated in DBW 1916 when the superpacks were released.
But I dont know why or if its a problem, my guess is not.
Btw v1b1 was replaced by v1b2 so you dont need both just the second.
In fact if you install both you may get errors which I cant predict.

Cheers

Thanks for quick reaction, V(I)P  ;-)

Clear.

In fact I switched off v1b1 (minus sign in front) and copied v1b2 in.

Everything works again as promised.

Again: Thank you all for this splendid package!

You're welcome! There's going to be a v1b3 tomorrow :)
I hope you dont mind the 200Mb download, its much quicker for me to upload the entire pack and it minimizes the chance of forgetting a file from a patch.

Here a few screenshots about the ww1 planes, more time I spend with them the more I like them...dogfight is something different :)

Also, the engine smoke is "blowing" the wrong way. It "blows" forward instead of back into the cockpit....

Managed to fix this bug today! Took me an hour but I finally got it :)

I may have to give up my Phantom and jump into a SE5 or Fokker.    :D

You are an incredible modder VP, you are working at lightning speed! I
cannot catch up or run that fast!
What you are doing is really super. Thank you for using my skins on them. Even tho they are not real, these are all great airplanes to fly until the real machines arrive to the IL-2-1916 in a little while.

In FACT, some of these Mod-Franken-airplanes look very much like many real airplanes that actually
existed in WW1, made by hundreds of aviation companies that time has forgotten, but I have books
on WW1 airplanes that show photos and many look like IL-2-1916 airplanes!!  8) What a great coincidence this has happened to us and our cool game!

I do not know if it is the new skins you put in these mods or just some other special tweaks and
magic, but I really like how the game is evolving with some great new eye-candy.
I don“t know, there is just something very cool going on inside the IL-2-1916 game.
I am defenitly going to retire my P-51 Mustang and ME-109 for a little while and enjoy some cool
dog-fighting in WW1 style.
By the way, I have not noticed the cockpit "blinking or dissappearing" when I shoot the guns in
my game.
Alright then,
I will delete this last install version and I will install the new version when you are ready for more
testing. We must do alot of testing for it to continue being a great game...IL-2-1916 shall live forever!

Thanks Max!
If you wanna help use the Fokker Dr1 (the old one) as testing platform. The part above the instrument panel I marked with red on this picture is ok for you? -> https://www.sas1946.rocks/images/imageshit/img403/233/19594492.jpg
Mine is blinking when I fire my guns.
