I love the storch flying backward through the hanger!  Can anyone tell me what map was used in the storch video.  I need to explore that map, it looks awesome.  Thanks.

Hey, I can wait for a long time for a Harrier for IL 2, but I would vote strongly for an F5 Freedom fighter!  :P

well, he mentions he's using 409b1m, and the vid's from 2010, so i guess the only place you might find that particular wind mod would be AAS, if it still exists.
wind mod has gone through several refinements since then, so it might be impossible to find that same version...

What you guys are talking about? ???

The wind mod is already implemented in IL-2 since stock 4.10m, you just need to configure it in your mission in FMB. :P :D

I already tested it in a mission that I made, and if you try to put a hurricane like wind, the AI will not take off and your airplane will not turn in the ground.
Remember that the velocity of the wind is in m/s. ;)

Looking at that storch thats Harrier material right here.
If modders figure out how to place wind always in front of the plane and lever for nozle position would control the wind speed itself  :P

Admins-Feel free to move this and the last post to fm discussions

Chupacabras84- I agree, the most odvios problems with that (at least to me) is that the speed would always be off by how ever much, and what if there is 2 planes going in different directions if the wind is constant throughout the map?

Where do you get the 4.10m patch?  The Ubisoft website only lists a 4.8m patch.   ???

Never mind.  I found the 4.10m mod on the Mission4today site.   ;D
