Hurricane Campaign set in May 1940
« on: May 18, 2012, 04:20:24 AM »

Soon I hope to complete an RAF campaign for GilB57:s great WESTFRONT 1940 map, set in May 1940.

It is a 13-mission static campaign, where you got to fly both the earliest variant of the Hurricane (with the two-bladed propellor) and the later, more powerful Mk I (with the three-bladed prop, and armour plating). It spans the campaign from the dawn of May 10th, when your Squadron is sent over as hasty reinforcements, until May 21st when your Squadron, like most others, is withdrawn, heavily battered, back to England. It tries to follow history pretty closely.

If anyone would like to PLAYTEST it, I would be most grateful. If you do, just PM me!  :)

Interesting about those skins! Where can I find them?

And if you can find time to just take those skins in a spin over France in May 1940 I would be happy!

D/L-ing now - thanks!  ;D

No, just a last check. I've run it through twice, but it's always something you miss.

A1, this is turning into a request, but I can't help myself:

Could it be possible to give one of those black/white blank skins that very distinctive tail flash (that covered the whole rudder) that were so typical of these aircraft in France 1940?

sorry poltava, another question: do you need no markings or marked generic (roundel, no codes)?

ok, first pack (only tail markings) ready: fabric wing A&B schemes with 5 types of b/w underside, plus A&B schemes metal wing 3bladed, full b/w underside and 2 types of tail markings (not sure if Mk.I metal wings had rudder band) let me know if you need marked skins or other combination! :)
