ATTENTION:

In the JG 26 campaign one small file is missing in the package, i will update the campaign.

Until then, you can fix it easy:

create a file called

squadronsDe{.dat

with notepad

copy and paste this line into the file:

I_JG26

save it and copy the file into the DGEN folder of Il2.

Hi vampire_p.

missing are the file mentioned above and dome other .mis files. If you have the older unmodded version of the JG26 campaign it should work, but i think it´s better to update, cause i edited some of the .mis files. Install it just over the old files, ongoing campaigns aren´t affected.

Hi Boelcke I love your campaigns but I need help with Channelfront fighter campaign RAF , I tryied it play 5 times and always met same problem: After about 20 mission Dgen exe crash and error log says:Pilot Blackwell,Benjamin not found.I checked British.dat and British_ru.dat and he is there.I have your latest modded version , your Dgen.exe 4.0.8.6 and UP 2.0
P.S. Pilot is sometimes mentioned as already KIA in Archive.dat ,but not always.

Hi 4ent,

that´s a very difficult question, dgen campaigns with modded planes are very tricky.

I don´t know what to do, perhaps some other dgen experts are here around?

Hey, Cool!

But did you consider making a Norway section??
This area was important for the Destroyers. I watched lots of old 1940 wochenschau features lately and the Zerstörers over norway where very popular with the Reporters back then.

protecting shipping and costal patrolling against intruders as well as attacking British ships.
would be cool I think.

A Norway subcampaign would be a good idea. IV/ZG26 was based in Norway in 1944 and 1945 and they used the Bf-110G, Me410A/B and the JU-88C6 (!). I thought about doing a Zerstörer campaign for the Norway map, but it looks like all letters and characters that are accepted by Dgen to name the campaign files are already in use and I don't want to overwrite one of the other campaigns.

In fact, if you have installed my Forgotten Planes campaign set (included in Enjoyr as well), you have an expanded Zerstorer campaign. It's the deffault East front Zerstorer campaign expanded from Early East front, to Western Front, and it finish in Norway. No Zerstorer units in Germany 1945.

Hello Ojcar,
if I remember correctly your Norway Zerstoerer subcampaign is in 1945. I think a Norway subcampaign in late summer or autumn 1944 would be much better. During this time RAF bombers often flew without Mustang escort and the situation for the Zerstoerer units was much less dangerous than in 1945.

44-45 is good - but what about early missions? I miss the the 1940-41 Norway parts anyway...

about the lettering... there are lots of campaigns I never play, as I am no He-111 guy for example so why not offer overwriting for Bomber campaigns? I would not mind, as long as it is clearly  stated which campaign gets overwritten!
we won't find new letters anyway and my list is way too long as it is.
