Yes and it should be, I read and seen many interviews about flying a P-47. Its pure weight and powerful engine gives it a real challange on takeoffs and landings. One oldtimer in Warbirds interviewed in the magazine Warbird flying countless ours for display in Airshows around the states, the P-51, P-47 and the P-40 .
I cant remember what models of the P-40 tho but he had flown two types.
He said and I quote, If I was to choose witch plane I would fly among these brands I take the P-40 anytime. He said it responded very nice, you can do what ever you want with it and there are very few penaltyes as consequense.
