Has anyone gotten this to work with the 4.11m buttons and so forth?  I'd really like to have a near complete set of early and pre-war aircraft for the Spanish Civil War, and an alternate history campaign set before world war 2 (Germany refused to sign the Treaty of Versailles, America stopped backing the Allies and a cease fire without a peace treaty persists till the 1930s).

I will soon distribute this version had 409!
It seems to me that 411 users can use it properly!

Hmm... checked my log files... it seems that on my copy DiffFM doesn't seem to be finding the flight models, since they're not in the 4.11m beta buttons.  Considering the flight models are in the mod folder I'm stumped.  Should I move them somewhere or something?

Stellamargic, 4.11 DiffFM doesn't read the 4.10 format FMs (they are compiled differently) - Wait for Epervier's version with FMs compatible with 4.09 and 4.11

Okay, didn't realize that... I'll just turn it off till the 4.09m version comes out then.  Are there plans to make the Nieuport-Delage NiD-52 or Polikarpov I-5?  I think both those planes fought in the Spanish Civil War (Maybe not the I-5, but it did served as a ground attack aircraft until 1942 with the VVS, so its lack is rather saddening and rather confusing that the VVS still used it but didn't sell any to the Republicans.)

It's great having all these older planes... at this rate we might be able to build a continuous campaign from 1914 to modern times! Talk about pushing my copy of DCG to the limits of it's endurance.

I do have a question though, I noticed a lot of these mods don't have a 'default' load out, which is a bit odd... wouldn't one of the load outs be the basic or 'default' load out for the aircraft?

It may be different from what we're used to but I think it's a great improvement. I have never liked the 'Default' loadout - why can't thay just tell us what the basic armament is. Default for one type of a/c is completely different for another.

I spent some time when I was using 2.01 changing most of the 'Defaults' to the actual loadout in weapons.ru. Tme I done it again for DBW.

The "default" can be described more precisely in the file "weapons_ru.properties or weapons.properties". This is my way of doing... especially that this option is required in 409.
Indeed, in 409, if there is no option "default" I noticed some bugs when using AI aircraft!
In version 409/411 of these aircraft, you will have an option "default" precisely in the file "weapons"!
