Hi guys. im happily using some version of Kodama's J7W1. but can someone tell me the link to the latest version of his J7W, because that link in first post lead to the some dead page....

In past (very close past) the link was working correctly...but now i cant check if there is some updated version of this Mod, i even cant compare my version with latest (if there is some newer)- to see the changes and bugfixes.

So please can me someone give the link to the latest ver? is some "Live" link where i can download latest version of J7W1 mod?

EDIT: Long time ago resolved. As long as i have fresh info from Kodama's personal site and blog (in japanese lang).

So, if u want to know more about the actual situation in development of J7W1 MOD

===>> go to the thread called "B7A" created by Baronbutcher in "Requests"

and there are my posts with new informations and more.

This is a gem!  You cant have 1946 without it.  B-29s be scared!  I cant beleive this wonderful adition.  The model is good looking and the decision to use the P-63 flight model.  Its as touchy as I imagined the real thing to be.
Congratulations on a great addition.  Now where is the jet version? :P

Really, Thank You

Why isn't spent cartridge case ejection modelled in the J7W1?

I can't find any references as to where the ejection ports may have been positioned - maybe the spent cases were collected in a bag to prevent them bouncing off the propeller blades or getting sucked into the air intakes.

I've since discovered that it was designed that way and the spent cases were collected so they wouldn't foul the prop!

kodama said on the 20th September:

Now my J7 is still beta and plan to large update for 3D model .
Zoukeimura( plastic model maker) will publish J7's book in this autumn-winter.

I expect that this book give me new information for modeling.

LoL, that isnt any skin on latest (current) version of J7W1 MOD (published 31-12-2009) from Kodama.

Its just done from one of CG's i have DL-ed earlier this year, which were published through Aerocinema.

I have done from it my sign and I also changed some things like adding some typings and putting a few of filters on it.
Thats all how i made my sign.

As First, Im taking back my request for link to some newer version of J7W1 Mod, coz in the last time i've "been free of charge" to see whats new in Kodama's work.

But If You want to know more about actual development
of Kodama's J7W1 MOD look into thread in "Requests" section called
"B7A..."
there are also the pics (URL) to WIP's and I've uploaded them to share with other mates here.

I have some fresh info about latest development in J7W1 Mod same as other prepared Mod-planes like
J4M1, Mansyu (Manshu) Ki-98, Ki-83 and B7A2 Ryusei.
They all will be probably released in one pack.

Look there and you will see new details about it.

Im not US-man or Englishman, so sorry for my English with some grammatic bugs or big mis-typings, im writing too fast that is the matter of them. Im only not "perfect" in English.

Im NOT a Grammar Nazi, LoL !!! ;D

@von_Kasbegi Sorry - I've only just read your post in requests  :-[

Thanks for the info...

The reason why I didn't read the thread in Requests was probably because of its name: B7A 'Shooting Star'

I thought it was about this Korean War aircraft

Shooting Star

 ;D

I've got nothing against any period in history being represented in IL2 but I'm only into WWII stuff atm...
