DBW Super pack
« on: February 13, 2012, 02:50:58 AM »

Hi,
Don't know where else to put this - been given a link to the DBW1-7 Superpack, have downloaded from Media and the alternate, part1 works, but non of the others open in 7zip, have re-installed the 7-zip just in case.
Can the links be reset, please

Thank you

you obviously didn't read through the posts where this has been discussed already, mate.
the 7z extraction works only with part 1, the other parts don't open individually.
but the extraction process gets done completely via part 1.
if you extracted folder is called DBW_1.71_SuperInstall, and it's size is 2.22GB, then your download has worked perfectly. ;)

Thank you for that, No I have not read any of the other posts on dbw, because everthing seems to point to UP3, but thank you very much for explaining that to me.

glad you got it working mate. Sorry for only finding this now. what you describe can be confusing. yes, for anyone finding this thread and having same question: 7z was used to zip up DBW 1.71 superpack into 4 archives. 7z marked them as DBW_1.71_SuperInstall.7z.001, DBW_1.71_SuperInstall.7z.002 ect.

to open them, put all 4 archives somewhere in a folder,  and then you only run 7z on the first archive, it will automatically unpack the other 3. if any of them are missing, it will return an error.
