Help with problem in takeoff on the ship!
« on: January 18, 2012, 05:04:51 PM »

That sucks, I want to take off with a jet in Aquila, but planes are always near the middle of the track, left lane behind a lot of them, and thus I can not take off because the plane crashes into the water. The computer also can not take off, he falls right into the water.
How do I get more behind the jets?
I've tried everything, has to be some way! Thanks in advance.

Install latest Carrier(Catapult) MOD
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,20102.msg228102.html#msg228102
for Player.

For AI, Carrier Take-off MOD also needed
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,20339.0.html
But I was really interested in was just putting the Jets behind.

I want them to get further back off.
Why?

In historical, Aquilla weren't finished, but if finished and one member of fleet,
Planes taking off from Aquilla used Catapults.
Italy developed catapults to use on Aquilla.

You get "more speed and take off" when using catapult. Planes on Aquila take off with catapult, not normal take off. If you want to use normal take off better choose a carrier that hasn't catapult, like Lexington.
