Using Materials

The key is to apply all materials using one slot in the Materials Editor setup as Multi/Sub-Object

Click on each sub material and on the next level enter the name of the *.mat file (not the tga) in the name slot.
This will be picked up automatically by the exporter.  See example below:

If you need to define a null material then name it NULL  (uppercase) in the Materials Editor. Maraz Exporter will automatically delete the vertices and faces of any polys with a NULL material. It has been recommended to use ID: 1 for the NULL material however I have not found that the ID makes any difference to the way it works.

Does Maraz Exporter (Max9 version) have "Hook limit" in one .msh file ?

I tried a .msh with 35 Hooks , and Max9 freezes, with no error log in my IL2export.log or my_hier.him.
If some limits like 20 exists, I can make a dummy .msh to set 15 Hooks ton it.

I've never hit a limit with Hook numbers, but I've never had 35 on one mesh either.
Using a dummy mesh to create the text lines then cut and paste of these in your text editor seems like an easy work around.

My largest number is probably on Yorktown Hull3.msh, with 26 hooks.
That worked ok.
