maybe this is a stupid question but... for the skin. can i use the skin
from a other P51?? to change the skin of the P-82

Yes, the only problem being that the stabilizer will remain black, as it uses a separate .tga.

@duckodb,
It works in a ModAct 409 and ModAct 4101 install. Don't know about
DBW,UP3 or HSFX installs. If your using one of those, you'll just have to
try it.

Best ive gotten it to do is in 4.09m with the old modact it shows up in the plane list in quick mission but when I click on it to fly it it has no weapon loadout then when I click to custimize it it shows up as a 109e4. In the 4.101 version it causes my game to crash loading.

Not really. Hardly any parts are shared between them. We have one near here I got some good pictures of.
