The DBW version should work OK with SAS ModAct 3.6
The install is the same as for HSFX5.1 (Classic Mod Setup)
You must manually create a Missions/QuickQMBPro folder

Cgagan, exactly as Ashes said, or if not, I explained the setting to avoid this in page 4:

[Mods]
PALQMBMissions=Missions/Quick/

  Your QMBPro will read the former original folder. Don't repeat the [Mods] section in your file, check for the existing one and only add the line PALQMBMissions=Missions/Quick/

Jeanba,
               to me your problem sounds more like the traditional Java memory at the edge of collapse than a specific issue of MissionPro. When you have too many classes (consequence of having too many planes) those kind of strange problems appear.

  Try disabling some extra planes you have and check if the game starts to work normally again.

  Regards,
                        Pablo

Thank you, you are right, I deleted some installed aircraft and it works better.
If I delete some "default" aircraft from the air.ini I never use, will it have the same effect ?

Thank you in advance

If I enable both Missions/Quick and Missions/QuickQMBPro folders then I get the screen freeze when clicking on Quick Mission Builder.

With only Missions/Quick folder enabled I get the screen freeze.

With Missions/QuickQMBPro enabled and containing only selected subfolders it works but if I paste in all the subfolders from Missions/Quick I get the screen freeze again.

I conclude that something in the original Quick folder is causing the problem but I have not identified the specific files yet.

With Missions/QuickQMBPro folder only enabled and selected subfolders pasted in it works fine, so this is not a problem to me, just an observation.

Only last.quick is in my root/Quicks folder, which I think is correct.

I've now transferred all the folders from Missions/Quick to Missions/QuickQMBPro
I have kept the Missions/Quick folder but it is now empty.
These are my entries in conf.ini  --- including some obsolete stuff.

Code: [Select]
//[quick]
//Custom0=NWEurope
//Custom1=MTO
//Custom2=Bessarabia
//Custom3=vkg_El_Alamein_ZAF

[Mods]
PALMODsColor=0
//the following changes text sizes in combo boxes
PALQMBLinesMap=12
PALQMBLinesPl0=12
PALQMBLinesPl1=12
PALQMBLinesPl2=12
PALQMBLinesPl3=12
PALQMBLinesPl4=12
PALQMBLinesPl5=12
PALQMBLinesPl6=12
PALQMBLinesPl7=12
//the following line adds option of reading Quick folder as well as QuickQMBPro folder
//PALQMBMissions=Missions/Quick/
[QMB]
PlaneList=0

Presume I can delete the [quick] section?
Is the [QMB] section still required?  -- What does PlaneList do?

If I enable //PALQMBMissions=Missions/Quick/ the game fails to load at 60%
I have a missions folder Missions/QuickQMBPro/-Ag_Uf_Madrid
If I enable this the game fails to load.

None if this is causing a problem now that I've worked out what to disable.
Its just observations.

Hello Pablo, I have also experienced CTD when loading quick missions in DBW.  Tried different RAM settings and removing all mod aircraft no go.

Added the lines you indicated to my config.ini and re-introduced the mod aircraft, the problem still persisted but at least I got further into the missions before they crashed.

I have yet again removed some of the mod aircraft and I'm happy to say no more CTD at the moment.

Looks like it was two problems originally; lack of the appropriate entry and too many mod aircraft.

Thank you very much for the fix. :D

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

  People, I have fixed (I think) all the possible issues that can arise in QMB and MissionPro in general. If any of you want to try out the last version to confirm that everything works properly, please write to me direct to plucioni@gmail.com and I will submit to you this last version to have some feedback before finally release it.

  Regards,
                         Pablo
