I've never heard of any P-66's being used in Burma, except maybe flying over it into China.  As far as I know, Chinese pilots were the only ones to fly it in combat.  At that time, available aircraft in China were scarce and all P-40s were used by the Americans there.  P-66s filled the gap until more P-40s became available for the Chinese to fly.

I'd like to see both the P-66 and Vultee Vengeance as MODS.  The Vengeance was used heavily by the RAF for a year in Burma.  RAAF also used it over New Guinea but not much.  The P-66 is probably easier to make as a mod though.  I'm sure someone will take on the task in the future.

Vanguards were delivered to the RAF in India. When the RAF transferred them to the Chinese, they made their way to China via Burma. A couple were actually lost on the way in Burma (not due to combat).

I wish someone would have a second thought about creating this at last. This plane seems underpowered for combat, but I am pretty sure that it was a pretty fun little plane to fly.
