I made an error with this and SAS Modact 2.72's translation from the russian files, so some campaigns will still be in russian.

I will post an update in a day or two, just busy with something here.

Hello,
Please help.  I am have CTD at 60% after installing the latest button 8.5 in the mods/STD/gui/game folder.  When I disable the button I have no problem.  Do you know what I may be doning wrong?

Thanks,

Is it possible that you installed the 4.09 buttons instead of 4.10?

Also make sure that you don't have 'Expert' Mode enabled.  The Universal buttons are not compatible with that and will give you a no-boot (CTD)

After installing Hsfx 5 with the hotfix< I noticed that none of the pilot careers work. I click ok for the the new pilot career and it goes back to the main menu? Any Thoughts?

Hey Charlie m8, what's missing from Expert mode enabled from just plain HSFX enabled, besides the obvious of being able to use a modded HSFX ?. Also, can I copy paste some of my modded stuff from DBW into HSFX ? saves downloading again & also copy/paste air ini? to update that list ?, oh yes and add maps into the Maps too from DBW, & ie: All ini., umm I'll find something else to ask later LOL
thanks fellas.

I try using this SAS Modact for HSFX5.
LOADING: scene shows me SAS Modact for HSFX5 is enable.
OK.

Next I try to install 1956 The Jet Era pack.
But I can't use 1956's airplanes.
Crash doesn't happen, QMB menu 1956's airplanes choosable, but Loadout window is white - no menu list.
And error log show me Cannot read /3do/.../Hier.him .
I write thise 2 lines
Quote
4) Add the following lines to your .rc file in the STD folder (insert before @sfs MOUNT sasup_decals_01.sfs):
@sfs MOUNT sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs
in STD/.rc but it seems sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs isn't read by HSFX5.

Then I try unpack sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs and paste MODS folder.
OK. Every 1956's airplanes choosable, Loadout menu correct, I can fly.

I thi my way right?
or is it The detour?

Sounds Good Western :-)

( errors sound like an unzipping error (common with win7 unless you give admin permissions  to installers).

I don't have Jetpack so can only really respond to your post and not from experience.

Hi guys sorry to be a pain (I just know this is my fault!) but O.K I was running HSFX 5 and in it i had a mod folder with all the usual gubbings in it (Mod aircraft, std) what i mean to say is where after this install do you find the Air file? buttons file, where do you put the new MOD aircraft, and for my sins I allowed this install to overwrite as requested and my old MOD,s folder has gone with all my Mod aircraft (ie Lancaster) Where has it gone to? or do i have to reinstall all my old mod aircraft?.....Fantastic idea trying to clear up IL-2 with one main system, but it just seems you get used to one way of adding things to the game then someone comes out with a differant way of doing things....Thanks for all the hard work, the game runs fine, but now i havn't a clue where everything is
