Simple "A-B-C" for Zuti's friction mod???
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:59:08 PM »

How do I do an airfield with this mod?

Can I do it all in FMB?

How do I get the co ordinates for the airfield?

What is the appropriate range for air strip friction values?

Is there any way to clear trees from the airstrip, now that there are no runway objects?

Thanks for any info.

Even simpler way:

A. create the *.mis file as described above by UP~Boomer.

B. Go to Mods / 01_ZUTI_AirfieldsFrictionMod_STD_v04 / AirportsExtractor /,
there double click on Il2_AirportsExtractor_v1.3jar file,
there locate the *.mis file you created in A.

C. adjust there Default Friction value as given by UP~Boomer, click on Process.

D. open Z_outAirports.txt file, and copy  therefrom the text and paste it at the end of your load.ini file.

Thats all.

Spassiba, Uzin. I did it all manually yesterday and it worked. But your advice will make it even simpler!
