Skipper,

I started over with updating my 4.10 to 4.101 and installed the SAS_ModAct_v2.72 along with the Difffm_410 & 2 Ecran_Wide mod.  Now the I-180 fly’s perfectly, so I must have had a conflicting mod in my 4.10 setup some where.  If the I-180 acts up again after I install a mod I will let you know.  This mod works just fine so far, but I haven’t tried to land it on a carrier yet. 

I appreciate your efforts trying to help me get it to work earlier … thanks.

The profile of the I-180 seems to look like the I-185m-71, but the performance seems to be more like the I-185m-82A.  I was hopeful that we would be getting some external loads on the better performing I-185m-71, but apparently this is an appearance change (to the I-185m-82A) and maybe the carrier landing capability.  The other difference is in the armament which the default seems to be light machine guns (ShKAS?) only.  Even the upgraded armament of 2xUBs & 3xShKAS is pretty weak, but better.  I guess that’s supposed to represent the lighter armament of an earlier model of the I-180 series?   

In summary it appears we have a carrier version of the I-185m-82A with weaker gun armament or did I miss something?   Making this a carrier fighter does open new possibilities for some different (SNARK) missions and might prove useful in a fictional campaign I’m putting together.

No, no...no I-180 in 4.09m for me.I believe this has to do with diff FM, so I 'll ask to be included in the next buttons file.

Do you have a skin template for this plane or could we use a copy of the I-185 Template Void for a skinning?

I hope someone is planning on making some kewl Snark Jungle Skins for the I-180 and various other planes.

I have this installed in DBW,it loads,and I fly for maybe a second or two,then crashes.I have the updates installed,as well.

i have this working in 4.09m but i can't seem to fly it. everytime i choose to fly i get a crash however the AI can fly with it no problem

Is there any way to make this flyable in my 4.12.1 + ModAct 5.21 install?Every time I fly it I get corrupt data file message.
