Funny, I was thinking to start a similar post myself....ah well, CirX beat me to it.

Anyway, here is several pictures of my custom built pit:

I finished building this over the summer months and just picked up a 26-inch monitor to enhance the "immersion" effect. The frame is custom built from ABS pipe and PVC fittings. Flight stick is a heavily modified Saitek Aviator. I also have Saitek rudder pedals and a CH Pro Throttle. Sound system is a Creative Labs 5.1 surround sound setup. All the components (stick, throttle, pedals, switch panel, keyboard, and mouse) connect to a 7-port USB hub that is mounted under the monitor stand. This keeps everthing nice and neat and results in just a single USB connection to the PC.

Nice looking setup M8!
The Switch box details please, Home made?

Got rid of my excellent yoke since I was determined to fly choppers in DCS, do not regret it per se , but I do miss my yoke

My ride (several years ago, although I have modified suspension, wheels and spacers recently):

LuseKofte,

Is that a cyclic I see there next to your stick?

I guess so, would be funny if that was a boarding aid ;)
I was determined to fly choppers in DCS

Good one Mike
Yes it is a collective for choppers, I thought a collective with twist throttle is a must, but now I know it is not, So if I bought one today I would probably choose the KA 50 one they got.

I got Huey
this is mine picture before shipping and posted at their Facebookgroup

Hello. I'm new to the forums but not new to IL2 1946. Back a few years ago I was hooked up with the buys on Bombs-Away.net, which is now long gone. I was a Squadron leader with JG-53 and flew missions over Russia with our Bf-109Fs. Computer problems and being burnt out caused me to drop out for a long time. So long in fact B-A closed down. Now after seeing your SAS website, the new updates, and mods for IL2 1946 has peaked my interest again. Well, so has DCS World, and IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad and Moscow too. A lot has changed since those days.

Gary/GT182/vonSpinmeister of JG-53.

Some really cool setups . Mine are really simple but these setups give me inspiration to do the same. Thanks to all for posting their setups.

Saitek FIP´s I got cheap. Do not use them though, X plane simply do not appeal to me, I consider FSX due to very good Narvik textures

Second hand monitor for cheap money. Use it for KA 50 and SU 25 T monitor.

I am adjusting things constantly, I am bidding on high end table yokes I hope I got space for, Try to get it as cheap as possible. I miss flying with a yoke
