Bravo,

I downloaded this file and opened it using a free program called "SoftZipper". I check the "000_Coree_Corsair_Sound" directory and found files in the sub-directories. While I have not installed this mod yet, I think the download is O.K. I played one of the sample files and it sounds good. For some reason, a small number of downloads require SoftZipper to open them properly. See if SoftZipper helps you.

I am exceptionally late on trying out this mod and now that I've tried it, I could kick myself for my tardiness

So when you open the zipped file, you are getting a message that it is the file is corrupt?

re-download and open with 7zip...or i'll just re-zip it as a winrar. but 7zip will save you time in the future

I use 7-zip by default: same error as Bravo..

"Cannot open file xxx as archive"

I had the same problem a while ago. I was using an old version of 7-Zip.

Go here: www.7-zip.org/ download and install 7-Zip 9.20.

I downloaded the new sounds and unzipped them yesterday without incident.

I almost forgot - thanks HISTO-Aymi, they sound great!
