The map looks really beautiful, but I wonder why you haven't extend the area a few kilometers further to the northeast to include the important airfield of Bardufoss.

It was a question of having the satellite data available. Because of the high latitude, many sites don't have srtm data of polar and antarctic regions. The map however was a small set of satellite downloads that covered just the area now on the map, and nothing else adjacent ... so t was a question of being restricted by available srtm data ...

The Royal Navy came in and chased Germans mostly Destroyers in Rombaksfjord and Skjomen They all was lost While the polish lost one Destroyer "Gorm"

Just a thank-you, agracier!  I'd done without object mods since updating to 4.10 and enjoyed the short loading time for the game.  But I missed your beautiful work, as well as that of the other mapmaking geniuses.  Plus, Boomer made upload of all the object mods so dadgum easy that I caved.
Narvik map is a beauty.  Love those realistic airfield textures.
Thank you! :) :) :) :) :)

Yup, Boomer has made installing maps so much easier for everyone - makers and installers. He put a lot of work into compiling them all together. Hats off.

The airfield textures are retinted copies of airfields by compans and mixx ... they should get the credit for them. They are so useful and more realistic to use, especially in conjunction with Zuti's Friction mod ....

Those are NorthSea objects, and you can install them either separately from the North Sea map, or as part of Boomers complete collection of objects as meant for clean 4.10 installs.

I don't have time to look for the links right now unfortunately, but with this info you should be able to find the install packs.

Have you installed Boomer's objects packs? I also run a 410 SAS mod-activated game and have no problem with the map (or with any map...)

I should perhaps have included a French flag on the FMB maps to represent the French contingent that participated in operations at Narvik in 1940.

For those who wish to rectify this oversight, please find here a link for the 2 ed_m01/02 maps containing the French tricolor. Just download and overwrite existing files. Backup the old first, cause you just never know ...
