Attention: DBW AI Mod as per DBW 1.2 affects carrier take-offs. Please either deactivate AI Mod or update your DBW to 1.3 or above

I find it extremely fun at this point to work on missions and a campaign... dunno, I have had time where I would prefer anything anything over working in FMB...

This project is on my workbench in preperation mode for quite a while now but since TKM released their latest packs I have new material to work with.
Some missions are already finished.

For those who do not know Akamatsu:
a jpanese Navy fighter ace, serving from 1928 - 1945, surviving the war with about 30 kills. The exact number cannot be verified and he was not very modest, claiming 250 - 350 victories.

A lot of fantastic fairy tales rank around that man who survived without a single scratch - not an easy task for a japanese aviator, I was always fascinted by the legend we know so few about. He died in 1980 (born 1910) without having told his story properly.

Of course one should not belive every story about him but the whole thing is fascinating enough as it is and there are some verified encounters that make him special enough.

It also provides not only combat missions but lots of training and fun flying with different types in different places, land based, carrier based, long range, short range... from tiny biplanes to 1800 hp high altitude monsters.

I will use 4.09 + UP + Tainan Kosho 1.22 with their fantastic mainland Japan map!

no, there I take the sevastopol map, as most do, since is looks a little bit like the shanghai region. there are templates at M4T

I use that as china, I also use the Hokkaido and Kyushu maps and the open pacific for various missions, for example carrier training and night flying.
another segment goes to the philipines, the next was abit tricky since there is no map for Java I use Singapore as a stand in. then there is Darwin and a short trip to Thailand/India before he comes home for homeland defense over the Honshu map. lots of different regions for that campaign.

oh and i forgot Formosa! one mission is on Formosa. ;)

went well, ironed out a few things and corected a lot of briefings....
I had to do it myself as another beta tester never reported back unfotunately.

finished the thing yesterday as roughly 10.000 points run. I expect it to upload later today on M4T :)

I'm still on stock 4101 & 409m+hsfx4.0fixed at the moment; still getting adjusted to that, but this sounds like a worthy prospect, goodluck debugging.
