Did you turn the music in IL-2?

Hi!

Could you please tell me how can I listen these radio broadcasts?
I've followed instructions from the 4.101 guide but... no radio at all!  :(

That's what I have done in my IL-2 v4.101 unmodded copy of the game:
1. In FMB:
Put the Grossdeutcher_Rundfunk stationary object in the map
2. In Controls:
Assigned a key to Next Beacon
3. In Hardware Setup\Sound Setup:
    Play Music "On"
4. In Difficultty:
    All options "On"
5. In IL-2 game directory:
Put the folder 1939xxxx in Samples\Music\Radio\Grossdeutcher_Rundfunk

Well, as far as I understood that's what should be done. But after pressing "Next Beacon" key nothing happens except the inflight message "Beacon_ID...etc"

Any help will be fully appreciated!

Oscarito, this same thing has happened to me in an unmodded game....i then made another fresh install and it worked - only until i added one or two mods, however - then it stopped working again. ::)
if your game is stock unmodded, i suggest you post over at the 1C forum with this problem, they should be able to offer more advice on this....
of course, any more info you find and let us know about, will help us to also try and solve this problem.  ;)

nauttia, ystäviä !  :)
Sorry about OT, but this is so hilarious I have to respond about this Finnish language sentence.
Ecto, you just gave expression that you maybe might enjoy your friends with little bit cannibalistic way.   :)
"Nauttikaa ystävät!" is maybe what you meant.
I eat cannibal
It's incredible
You bring out the animal in me
I eat cannibals

All I wanna do
Make a meal of you
We are what we eat
You're my kind of meat

..lol, lol..... :D ;D

That really made me chuckle, I can imagine Jussi69/The 69Eyes, Don Johnson Big Band or LORDI singing those lyrics of yours Mal' :D

I hope the problems get fixed at somepoint - maybe by then I will have finished downloading UP3...

Its not quite (I) Eat Friend 'Syödään Ystävä' or 'Minä/Mä Makuun Ystävään' I Taste My Friends, but if your hungry (or randy) when you read Enjoy/Delight in Friend...

I have a Suomi(Suomeksi) Englanti Sankankirja, by Matkalle Mukaan circa 1992, and in that it says Nauttia is only 'Enjoy', but after a bit of searching online, it also means as an expression 'Delight in'.

Sorry, purgatorio, but your troubleshoters are useless for modded guys.

Also the problems seems to be present in DBW as well.

I bet it was made by TD on purpose, to prevent people from modding...

Well, I don't think there are any. Don't take that offensive, but most of guys there already made those basic things with no success. The problem is rather with UP3 itself (or TD attitude to modding), and nothing can be done here.
