Its the NO AMMO bug it's in one of the mods you have,you just gotta figure out which one.

Hmmmm...I've never heard of this bug before. Perhaps some info about your game would be helpfull?

i'm pretty sure Gumpy was just having a laugh, although i suppose it could have been taken literally, which might be unfortunate...
must say, i don't know about this particular problem.
alessio, please list exactly which planes it happens to. surely, it's not ALL allied planes?  ???
and as always, PLEASE tell us which mod version, which mods, etc you are using.

Actually there has been a couple of mods in the last two years or so that I have seen this problem arise with after install.You press the fire button on your joystick and all your ammo is gone in a split second,I can't remember offhand which ones they were but,I remember reading that some guys were having that problem.

yes, but that problem was always specific to certain mods/planes, never a general problem that affected many planes.
hence, i need alessio to give us a detailed list of exactly which planes are affected by this - i don't for one minute believe it is all allied planes across the board.
if we can isolate which planes are affected, it'll be that much easier to pinpoint the problem, which will more than likely be due to one single mod. 
my guess is he's talking about F4U's, P51's or Sabres, but maybe it's others - we need to know.

Is your loadout set to empty? Try Default if it is.

I only suggest this because I've made this mistake once or twice...

Here is the list.

P 38 family
p39 family
p 40 family
p51 family
and f4 and corsair
ok with hurricane and englih planes.
Sometimes the ammo can be used correctly..and other times they finish soon.
I don't know...help.

Nobody can help you at all unless you tell us what type of game you are having trouble with. 4.07? 4.08?4.09m? SAS? UP? HSFX? Customized Combination of these? WHAT?
There are many different types.

Try to remove mods one by one, until you find out what's been causing the problem.
