When we first launched the Seafuries, Jafa sent me this awesome engine sound for them, the Seafuries using their very own prs file called motor.Centaurus.prs

I have converted it to system saving 22k, which still sounds awesome, for the SAS.
You can download this soundpack , putting it in the mods folder

Note: The Seafuries use the same start/stop soundfile as the Tempests, in other words the Sabre Engine, as you can see when consulting our Sound matrix Sheet. Those files are thus not included here.

My Father is now Dead but he use to say the Fury was the most powerfull thing he had between his legs lol...and you used full opposite rudder on take off on a Aircraft Carrier and was a great aircraft to fly.He then went on to fly Vampires and also took part in evaluation trials here in Australia with the Dehavilan Hornet,that was the best Aircraft he had flowen and regrets that Australia didnt use it

Ah , sorry to hear that , would have bin good to get him on here and give us all the low down from first hand experiance, i was lucky a few years ago to get a box of goodies from a freind of mine in England , an original Hawker fury Broshure was in there , lots of interestin specs stuff , also in that box was one of Ginger Lacey's reflector gunsights from a spit he crashed in the Bob , Ginger taught my freind to fly after the war , Lodder said he was a right bastard....

Wow you Lucky sod....thats a nice bit of History you have there Mate...if you are after any Data on the Fury i have a heap of info here on it,Flight Data measurements cockpit layout the works,i suplied Magpie a heap of this type of info for the Boomerang and Vampire if you are after any of this stuff give me a hoi
