Modifications bomber TB-3 (ANT-6)
« on: July 29, 2013, 03:42:56 PM »

TESTED IN 4101m+SASModact 3.06

We are pleased that the ability to make some forum members are interested in modifying the TB-3 (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,35993.msg393846.html#msg393846):)
Mods from: http://forum.aviaskins.com/showthread.php?t=3018 and some additions.
Allow me to introduce you some modifications bomber TB-3 (ANT-6) (Franken)

single-wheel landing gears transport version with M-17

link

https://www.mediafire.com/download/reih5bh3mkh3dag/TB-3M17vAR_2w.rar

Install:

Unpack the archive into a folder DBW, SAS, MODS, etc.

Nothing has changed in the air.ini

ski, transport version (Aviaarktika) with M-17

link

https://www.mediafire.com/download.php?i6iheinlac90a46

Unpack the archive into a folder DBW, SAS, MODS, etc.

In air.ini:

TB_3_ANT6 air.TB_3_ANT6 1 NOINFO r01 SUMMER

Cockpit at the moment, to put it mildly, "damp", however, for those who have a desire to fly in a more comfortable environment, in the archives is the cockpit of the B-24, it is enough to make a backup copy of the default, remove it, and to the current folder to install an alternative. But ... Instruments in the cockpit of the B-24 does not work :(

ski, transport version (Aviaarktika) with M-34

link

https://www.mediafire.com/download.php?z83myh9a4ley9gx

Install:

In \IL2 Shturmovik\#SAS(DBW)(UP)(MODS)\ANT-6\3do\Plane\  make a backup copy of the folder of TB-3-ANT-6, delete the folder and unzip without changing anything in air.ini

Armed with a single-wheel landing gears version with M-17

link

https://www.mediafire.com/download/i0relxa9zfaw6eu/TB-3M17v_SW_armed.rar

Install:

Unpack the archive into a folder DBW, SAS, MODS, etc.

Nothing has changed in the air.ini

Install:

Nothing has changed in the air.ini

I apologize for the bugs in 3D.

Wheels differ from the original (see the figure at the beginning) for two reasons:

1) At the moment, for me is difficult to change the wheels on the TB-3.

2) Lack of opportunities for the use of standards skin when replacing wheels.

At this point, all the skins for TB-3 is almost completely compatible.

Many thanks and credits:
1C: Maddox Games - for IL-2
MAXHO - slot and original cockpit
Ranwers-cockpit for the B-24
Skvorez-for kindly providing the documentation
Nachprod - testing of ski options
Myshlayevsky-for excellent skin "Aviaarktika"
And to all those who I have not mentioned in this list.
(Maybe someone else I forgot? Remind me please)

Regards  ;)

Very nice! Thanks for this mod.

The TB3 has been mostly ignored but after this it will surely get more attention!  ;)

TB-4

Tupolev ANT-16 (also known as TB-4; Russian: ??????? ?????????????? – Heavy Bomber) was an experimental heavy bomber aircraft designed and tested in the Soviet Union in the early 1930s. Conceptually representing evolution of the TB-3 bomber, ANT-16 was designed under the doctrine that size and payload were more important for a bomber than speed because it would be able to protect itself with defensive armament. The twin 5×1.8×1.8 m (16 ft 5 in × 5 ft 11 in × 5 ft 11 in) bomb bays were the largest in the world at the time and presented many design challenges in order to preserve structural rigidity of the airframe.
