I always ask to show a piece of logfile ...
Need to learn some basics of the game.
Mods is not a product out of the box.

i have all the mods that are on this site, and these two the two you posted are the only ones to do this to me, also the gladiator.

ok listen or read, WHEN I PUT THE FOLDERS IN MY MODS FOLDER IT SAYS A DIFFRENT NAME THAN WHAT IS IN MY AIR.INI, now im sorry i had to make that all caps, but that is all that is wrong that i see, its this mod, the big boatmod with the biwings the one right below this one, and also the gladiator on floats. if need be ill tell you what my folder names were and you will know that the ini is diffrent from the folder name

no...you listen or read.  as they told you...the actual FOLDER NAME CAN BE ANYTHING YOU PLEASE.  it does NOT have to be the SAME as the name going into the air.ini file.

once again, you should already know this if you're playing IL2 and installing mods.  the aircrafts folder name means nothing...  the name going into the air.ini file can be completely a different name from that folder name.  so get off of worrying about the folder name, okay?  it's a waste of time and means nothing.  the folder name will not cause a crash or hangup.  so forget that.

also...  Skipper asked for error messages in the log file.  once again, if you're playing IL2 you should know about the log file, where it is, what it does, and how to copy if for de-bugging purposes.  you turn the log file on inside your IL2 config file...how to do that is ALL over the web and especially here at SAS...so find it, read it, do it.  it IS important when messing with mods as it will usually tell exactly where errors are happening as the game tries to load.

once the log file is turned on inside the config...  and you go back to the main game folder, it will show up...  log.  after you try to run the game and if it crashes, go to that log file, open it, it will show what happened.  scroll up till you see the last plane it tried to load and there should be error messages there about "can't load...whatever plane and so on."  highlight and copy that and post it here so Skipper can SEE what is going on as your game tries to load.

he can use that information to track down most problems your having...

and that's how you take care of business.  it seems you obviously don't know that much about the game if you don't know what's been said above...  suggestion...  READ and LEARN.  there's a ton of solid info about the game and how it works both here at SAS and ALL over the web.

Skipper is possible to erase the top engine and add two radials (the PBY Catalina ones for example) on the wings close the fuselage? Maybe this way we can have a pasable Grumman Goose specially with a good paintscheme.

Another option for the Goose is to use the modified 3d model of the Savoia seaplane (it doesn't have the gunners), erase the top engine and add a couple of radials on the wings. We will have a passable Goose this way
