Ford Tri-motor (Franken?)
« on: October 01, 2010, 11:12:50 AM »

Hello guys,
my first (publicly made) mod.  :)

I would like a new slot for it, please. I have no java experience what-so-ever.. only 3D.  :P
To put it simple, this is really just a Ju-52, modified to look like a Tri-motor (they look so much alike to me!  ??? )
So I don't know whether to call it a frankenplane or what...  :-\  AND I also made the cheesy skin.  ;D
Currently it is using the slot of the Ju-52 from this mod..
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1522.0.html And bombs really aren't historically accurate.  ;)

     Another pic:

So, a slot would be appericicated.  8)

Looking good! Could you put the engine of the P-26 as the two outer engines? I think they look more the same

Very cool.  Keep going.

Here's some stuff on the airport where the Ford Tri-motor was made.  It was originally called Ford airport, but now it's Detroit City airport KDET.  It claims to have had the first paved runway of any airport in the world.

The factory hangars are still there and the airport looks very much like it used to.

Hope someone can help you solving the small holes and problems. The golden age of aviation is slowly coming to us.
