Looks really neat. In Korea, the Americans experimented with crossing searchlights over hilltops at night to pinpoint enemy positions for air strikes. Maybe this could work for that...

The player sees luch spotlight ONLY if the source is located within the frame ...
I can not imagine how it can be implemented on an airplane.

In the pacific there have been several night time sea battles where searchlights were used to blind the opponents.
Would be great to simulate some of the battles in the Slot for instance, or the experimental early plane radar assisted night raids on Truk..
